Breville - Love the Coffee
By Wife says I'm Coffee Pig - or is that Hog February 17, 2012
We had a Senseo Coffee maker, and the only way it is better than Breville is I like the little bit of foam the Senseo puts on the top of the coffee. If you have to have foam, get a Senseo, other than that Breville is great. I saw reviews that this is noisey, but compared to the Senseo and regular Keurig models this is quietier than those models. This has a large resevoir for water, easy to use and going from hot chocolate, tea and coffee is simple. The ice coffee feature is really nice without having to go the whol espresso route. This heats up quickly, looks nice on the counter as long as you like the look of stainless steel, makes great coffee, easy to set up use. The ONLY downside is I bought it from Bed, Bath and Beyond for $200.00 with a 20% off coupon. Why would I pay $299 for it from this site? Answer is I wouldn't, that $100 bucks gets me allot of coffee down the road.
not good

This is a decent brewer when it was working. I owned it for about a year and it broke. I tried descaling it, cleaning it, and even taking it apart after nothing worked. When it worked it was loud when heating the water. I contacted breville and they took forever to get back to me. They wanted me to send it back and wait weeks why they repair it. It wasn't worth it; I drink coffee everyday. The good points about this brewer include: it looks nice, and it has a large water tank. I threw it in the trash and got a keurig and it works great. For $250 dollars there is no way the breville was worth it.
