For $300 I expected the engineering to be a little more user friendly. On/off switch on rear of unit (it should be a bit more accessible). If you want to change the serving size, you have to program it instead of just pushing a different button. The most obvious flaw is that a travel mug will not fit. REALLY, $300 for that. I sent mine back.
I needed to replace my Krups Home Cafe brewer after five years of faithful service. I was lucky enough to buy this brewer when it was a week old from a real estate office. At the time I didn't realize that I didn't get all the small parts, but that was easily solved. This is pretty much a commercial machine and I was able to download the manual and order the parts from the distributor. This brewer makes an excellent cup of coffee, but is quite noisy when it is pumping the water under pressure through the coffee pod. It has a large reservoir tank and I do ilke the fact that it can easily be set up for a water pipe connection. It has multiple pod holders, so you can switch between coffee and tea without getting any residue flavor.I'd recommend this brewer to anyone who makes multiple cups of coffee per day or needs a brewer for an office environment.
