Descale the SENSEO® coffee machine frequently! Preferably descale 4 to
6 times a year, but at least once every 3 months. Descaling takes about 1
hour. Do not interrupt the descaling process.
Why to descale:
Scale builds up inside the appliance during use. It is essential to descale
the SENSEO® coffee machine at least every 3 months.
I've had my Senseo brewer for 5 years and haven't had any problems with it. It makes a great cup of coffee with a wonderful "crema" on top. It does make only about 1/2 a regular-sized-cup per pod, but your coffee never goes cold and it's fast and easy to make another cup. You also have the option of using two pods to make a full cup. I'm now considering upgrading to the supreme model.
